Jacob Wagner is with the Wood County Health Department. He said hearing from the community on what they’re seeing and what they think the problems are makes a difference. These opinions will help guide the efforts of IMPACT and the Marshfield Area Coalition for Youth (MACY). There’s community coalition work that focuses specifically on addressing substance related issues in the county. This survey is a way for these groups to evaluate their efforts. It shows where trends are going and helps guide their work moving forward. Jacob said they want to know that the work they’re doing is effective and making positive changes in the community.
The survey isn’t difficult to fill out. Answers are multiple choice or on a scale. The survey does give the option to add written responses or give more information. Jacob said these additional comments really give the coalition insight into what members of the community are experiencing.
You can find the Wood County Opinion Survey here. If you would like to fill out a paper copy, you can contact Jacob Wagner directly by calling 715-421-8907. You can also email him at jacob.wagner@woodcountywi.gov. After you’ve finished the survey, you have the option of entering to win a $25 Kwik Trip gas card. This is not tied to the survey so your name will not be attached to any of your answers. The survey will be available until November 30, 2024.
