The Civic Media “Truth Booth” will be making a stop at the Wisconsin Valley Fair in Wausau, July 30 – August 4, 2024, giving residents a platform to share their thoughts about living in central Wisconsin. From local leadership and healthcare options, to traditions and events like the fair, the “Truth Booth” has a goal of capturing the voice of the community, its spirit and quality of life.
“We first did the Truth Booth at several county fairs last summer, and we loved the way people sat down, opened up and told us their stories about life in their local communities,” Jorge Reyna, Vice President of Marketing at Civic Media, says. “We’re super excited to return to Wausau this summer.”

The Wisconsin Valley Fair started in 1868. Today, it’s considered one of the best fairs in the state with many events and big name entertainment included with your admission.
The “Truth Booth” provides a unique opportunity for people to voice their opinions and share their experiences, creating a wide-range of stories. These memories are saved and can be accessed any time after the event.
“Truth Booth interviewees get a link to the archive of their interview on the Civic Media website within a few hours of talking with us, so they’ll be able to listen to their personal story and share it with their family and friends,” Reyna says. “The best ones may even make it on-air at WXCO radio!”
Listen and look for updates. And watch for the Civic Media “Truth Booth,” coming to an event near you!
