Kenosha, Wis (Civic Media) – The Green Bay Packers Tailgate Tour is set to kick off on April 9, bringing together current players, alumni, and fans for a week-long celebration of football and community engagement. The tour will feature current players Elgton Jenkins, Kenny Clark, and Rasheed Walker, as well as alumni players Bryan Bulaga, Mike Daniels, and Alex Green. Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy will also be in attendance.

The tour will make stops in Kenosha on April 9, Beloit on April 10, Platteville on April 11, and Sun Prairie on April 12. Each area can expect surprise visits and planned events aimed at engaging with the community and making a positive impact. The players and alumni will visit schools, hospitals, and community centers, presenting donations, giving away items, and offering fans the chance to meet their football heroes.

In Kenosha, the tour will coincide with the Shalom Center’s Annual Celebration. The event, themed “Tailgate for HOPE,” will take place on April 9 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at The Club at Strawberry Creek. Attendees can look forward to hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, live music by The John Crawford Jazz Band, a silent auction, raffles, and more. Tickets for the event, priced at $100 each, can be purchased in advance exclusively online at shalomcenter.org/events. All proceeds will go toward supporting the Shalom Center’s ongoing food, shelter, and community resource programs.

In Beloit, The NeighborWorks Blackhawk Region will be hosting a fundraising event at the Eclipse Center on April 10, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. That will include food, a live auction and a Q&A session with the Packers. General admission tickets are $75 and limited to the first 300 fans.

Platteville will also be hosting a fundraising event as part of the Packers Tailgate Tour. Platteville Dairy Days will hold a Mac & Cheese Cook-off at Broske Center on April 11 from 5 to 8 p.m. Attendees can enjoy a variety of delicious macaroni and cheese dishes while supporting a good cause.

The tour wraps up at Sunshine Place in Sun Prairie, with a fundraising event at The Pavilion at Angell Park on April 12, from 5 to 9:30 p.m. The evening will include a Q&A with the Packers, food and drink, live music, a live and silent auction and more. Tickets for the event are $100 per person, with only 250 available in total.

The tour takes place aboard a custom Green Bay Packers motor coach. In addition to stopping in the designated locations and cities, the team says tour celebrities will make surprise stops along the way as the schedule allows.
