Attention Gardeners: Seeds are arriving!

Seeds are starting to arrive at Family Natural Foods! With the spring-like weather we’ve been experiencing, it might feel like time to start planting. Katrina said it’s a bit early for that yet, but it’s never too early to start planning. They have some orders in and more are arriving every day. She said to feel free to stop in and you can start working on ideas or pick up things now for your garden later in the actual spring season.

Ginseng and how it can help your energy levels and your brain

Katrina discussed ginseng and how it can help with both everyday energy and stress. She said ginseng is an adaptogen. Adaptogens are a natural substance in herbal medicine considered to help the body adapt to stress and exert a normalizing effect upon bodily processes. Katrina said ginseng helps with mental clarity, focus, and both mental and physical stamina along with providing many other nutrients to help your brain.

On Saturday, February 17th, you can get them at the door. The event is from 4pm to 8pm at the Nekoosa Community Center.
