We've built a state-wide radio network that broadcasts local news, great conversations and handpicked music from every corner of our state. We are taking the essential local media services the others have abandoned--and we are never giving them back.
Our shows speak to the issues that matter to you, from the county board to high school sports, from rural towns and our cities. We believe radio plays an important role in strengthening our communities by focusing on what's happening in our everyday lives--the things we all agree on.
It’s hard to ignore national headlines, where everything is partisan: red/blue, left/right, black/white. We believe that focusing too much on Washington intrigue makes us feel powerless, angry, and divided. That’s why we are prioritizing local, regional, and state news and commentary. It’s our best opportunity to find common ground and feed our democracy.

Transparency helps you understand why we do what we do. We can disagree on the issues, but we all still believe in democracy—that’s why we made Civic our first name.
